Hello, I’m Hiro, the founder of Omoi Film.
Based in Yamaguchi, I create heartfelt videos across Japan—for businesses and individuals alike.
And when the opportunity arises, I’m always ready to take my camera beyond borders.

There was a time when I didn’t know what I truly wanted.
I moved from one company to another, unsure of my path.
In my 30s, determined to make a change, I went to study in Canada.
By chance, I was put in charge of managing my school’s YouTube channel—
and that changed everything.
When I discovered the power of visual storytelling—
the ability to shape a message and deliver it to someone—it finally felt like I had found what I was meant to do.
Since then, I’ve taught myself the craft and gained hands-on experience,
working on everything from branding videos for companies to personal stories and event documentaries.
But I don’t just make cool-looking videos.
Because even the most beautiful visuals can feel “off” if something’s missing.
That sense of disconnect often comes from skipping the most important part:
“Who are you talking to?”
“What do you want to say?”
“How do you want it to feel?”
That’s why I focus deeply on listening.
